New award for Mentoring will be awarded to a Postdoctoral Fellow or a Research Associate in the Department of Zoology.
This award is in memory of Dr. Jacob Hodgson, a long time Zoology Research Associate. This award has been created to honour his outstanding contributions to mentoring. Jacob was a mentor to so many members of the department but his legacy and impact will be remembered for his mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students.
This award was received for Dr. Schulte's outstanding research in the area of fish environmental and evolutionary physiology.
The August Krogh Distinguished Lectureship of the APS Comparative and Evolutionary Section (CEPS) sponsored by Novo Nordisk Foundation is awarded to a distinguished scientist who has made major and meritorious contributions to the scientific areas represented by the APS Comparative and Evolutionary Physiology Section. It is the most prestigious award of the section.
