The role of the Zoology Local Safety Team (LST) is to discuss safety items and issues within the buildings the department of Zoology occupies as well as to provide information, recommendations and support to JOHSC (Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee). The LST conducts worksite inspections and follows up with accident/incident investigations. The team also facilitates the communication of occupational safety related information to the department.
