About Dr. Randall
Dr. Randall was a professor in the Department of Zoology from 1963-2003. Known not only for being an inspirational faculty member, Dr. Randall was the president of the Canadian Society of Zoologists, a recipient of an Award of Excellence from the American Fisheries Society, and an elected fellow of both the Royal Society of Canada and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. In his career he trained over 20 MSc students, 30 doctoral students and 14 post-doctoral fellows. Of these, 32 have secured faculty positions at universities in Canada and around the world.
