The 2024 Eco Evo Retreat Organizing Committee is tremendously excited to share that registration for this year’s retreat in Squamish is now open!!
The retreat begins the evening of Friday, November 8th, and extends with two overnights through to the late morning of Sunday, November 10th.
Along with excellent research talks, blitzes, elevator pitches, and posters, we will of course be throwing down with the annual costume party! This year’s theme is: ***Souped-Up Species***. How would you turbocharge your species for the year 3000? Think telepathic cephalopods, bees using bluetooth to connect to the hive, birds with teleportation, plants with roots that double as feet, wherever the future (and your imagination) takes you!
Please register early to ensure a spot for the entire retreat, we will need to close the option for overnight registration if we hit our cap on attendance. We encourage faculty to register for the whole retreat as well, and will have a dedicated faculty cabin!
