The Biology TA Development and Advancement (TADA) team is excited to host upcoming workshop "Marking and Feedback" on October 30th Wednesday 1-3PM.
In this workshop, participants will:
Understand learning objectives based on Bloom’s Taxonomy and how it relates to you as a TA/marker
- Identify types of feedback that are constructive, helpful, and appropriate in supporting students with their learning
- Work together to evaluate student assessments fairly, professionally, and efficiently
- Identify possible challenges that may arise when marking and discuss strategies to overcome these challenges and provide constructive feedback
- Discuss ways to improve marking efficiency and provide practical tips
