Please save the following dates for the upcoming 2023 Biology Teaching & Learning Retreat:
June 19th (Mon): 9:00am–4:00pm (in person; MSL 101) – LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED
June 20th (Tues): 10:00am–3:00pm (online sessions; Zoom)
June 21st (Wed): 10:00am–3:00pm (online sessions; Zoom)
Scheduling of specific sessions is still underway, but here are some session topics that you can expect:
- Facilitating effective group work experiences
- Navigating AI/ChatGPT in teaching - Showcase of innovative teaching practices
- Sex & gender inclusivity in biology teaching
- Decolonizing and indigenizing the biology curriculum
- Engaging students in labs and tutorials
