- Co-manages Zoology’s operating budget
- Develops financial tools and reports to help faculty members in managing their grants
- Manages financial fiscal year end for the department
- Develops financial training programs for faculty and departmental staff
- Interprets and advises faculty and staff on University, and Granting agencies policies
