I am an engineering technician who joined the Zoology workshop in July 2023. My training background is from the BCIT Aircraft Maintenance Engineering program and I have many years of experience in manufacturing, repair, and fabrication. In my spare time, I enjoy woodworking, spending time outdoors, and I have combined these interests by building canoes to explore local waterways with my family.

The workshop is here to provide support to both teaching and research departments by maintaining equipment, building and assembling new equipment, and advising in the development of new devices and components that are needed to achieve your outcomes. It is equipped to work with a wide range of materials and processes, including: wood, metal, plastics, fiberglass, cutting, drilling, machining, welding, grinding and more.
