Presentation format:
Talks for a given session will happen back to back with a 5-10 minute joint question period at the end of each session for all speakers. The audience can put questions in the chat at any time and moderators will aim to ask each presenter at least one question to make sure it’s even.

Due to the processing time of SkiptheDishes, the gift card codes may arrive after the symposium date of Friday April 23rd. When the gift cards do arrive, the Symposium team will distribute them to everyone who signed up and opted in before the gift card cutoff date.
Socials and networking:
The Gather.town has a social lounge that you can attend and have private conversations or meet people anytime! We have a fun Zoom "Social Roulette" with Dr. Rachel Germain happening at 5 - 6 pm. The Social Roulette is all about meeting different people from the community via small breakout rooms and chatting about zany questions like "Why are our nose holes positioned this way?" and "Is Soup just soggy Salad?"
