Hi all,
I just updated this post by adding the lab’s protocol for PCR with SSR primers.
I also added modified versions of the single column extraction protocol and the PCR protocol (they are labelled version 2). The two modified protocols are simplified and fit on a single page. I made them so that I have an easy to follow reference to carry around the lab with me while I am doing lab work. They may be useful to you once you are familiar with the full protocols.

The modified column-less DNA extraction protocol has been working really well for me when I use Qiagen AP1 and AP2. It’s worth trying, especially if you were thinking about doing CTAB!
