My Journey Thus Far...

Growing up in the beautiful Eastern Townships area in Quebec, I got a passion for water itself that developed into a passion for saltwater. In order to become a marine biologist I completed a college degree where I learned how to band birds, trap mammals, and catch fishes.

Wanting to learn more about the oceans and change the scenery, I moved to beautiful British Columbia. While getting ready to finally become a graduate student, I went on exchange to Adelaide (South Australia) where I learned that catching wombats at night is no easy task...

Just before graduating, I met Chris Harley who introduced me to his lab filled with great people. The combination of a common interest of marine ecology and ocean acidification, with a great project opened for a student gives a result of me happily working under the supervision of Chris Harley.
