Sweat glands are found in the skin. Their duct as well as their secretory tube is extremely convoluted.

To look at a photomicrograph of a section through a sweat gland, click on the section plane in the diagram.
The duct has been sectioned 9 times (A) and the secretory tube 4 times (B). The sections through the duct have the same diameter: this means that the duct does not ramify (otherwise, the diameters would be different). The gland is not straight otherwise it would be sectioned only once.
The cells of the secretory tubes are larger and lighter than the cells of the duct wall. The black dots on the photomicrograph are the nuclei.
