out the part of the foot on which rests the chemical drill 
(= Accessory Boring Organ: ABO). 

<P>Then we look at its

under low magnification with a SEM.

mushroom and rests on the surface of the snail foot</B> (by the way, 
this is not the whole foot, just the part that we cut).
