What are the columns made of?
We will try to answer the following questions:
1- Is each column made of one cell or several cells?
2- What are the foldings at the top of the columns?
3- Are the columns homogeneous or do they possess definite regions?
4- What organelles do you recognize in these cells.
This time we will use the TEM to look at various
cross sections and longitudinal sections of these columns at
diverse magnifications.
Look at these two photomicrographs TEM #1
and TEM #2.
Choose what part of the column you want to study and click
on the nearest yellow circle to magnify it.
