Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor repeat is also known as the YWTD motif after the most conserved region of the repeat. 
The YWTD repeat is found in multiple tandem repeats and has been predicted to form a beta-propeller structure [<A HREF='pdf/Springer1998.pdf'>PubMed:9790844</A>]. 
It is found in a variety of proteins that include <A HREF='http://ca.expasy.org/uniprot/P98163'>vitellogenin receptor</a> from <i>Drosophila melanogaster</i>, <A HREF='http://ca.expasy.org/uniprot/P01130'>low-density lipoprotein receptor</A> (LDLR)
