This session will showcase a project by Jared Khalifa under the supervision of Dr. Moss Norman (UBC Faculty of Kinesiology) and Dr. Sarah Teetzel (University of Manitoba Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management). The project proposes an updated resource to help Canadian sport coaches, organizations, administrators, and health professionals better support trans and gender-diverse inclusion in sport. As Jared prepares to present on this project for the upcoming National Health and Physical Education Forum, he welcomes ideas, feedback, and insights on how to communicate the sociocultural dimensions of his work that draw on biological sciences in ways that are accessible to broad audiences.
