We are very excited to announce the return of our annual Bake a Cake for Darwin's birthday event!
For those who are new or have perhaps not participated previously, this event has been a long-standing annual tradition at the BRC to honour our favourite now 217 year old Aquarius, Darwin, for his incredible work.
The event will be held on Friday, February 13th in the BRC atrium. The timeline for the day of the event is as follows:
3:45pm - Bring your cakes
4:15pm - Judging
4:30pm - Cake eating free for all
5:00pm - Final awards announcement
There will be prizes available for the best cake in the categories below:
Darwin's choice
Most delicious
Most artistic
People's choice
For those interested, there is no sign-up required. All you need to do is bake a cake (we will be offering a reimbursement for cake ingredients $15/person) and bring it the day of for our judges to first taste, and everyone after to feast on.
This will also be a cluster competition event with points awarded for participation!
