About the show — VOLCANO (60 minutes): Scientist-turned-comedian Ben Miller blends volcanology, entomology, Hawaiian history, cats, cookies, and more into a clever, laugh-out-loud hour. In 2023, Ben became the first stand-up comedian selected as an Artist-in-Residence at Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park — yes, he’s actually told jokes in front of a lava lake.
About Ben: Ben is a New York–based comedian and former scientist whose debut hour, Stand-Up Science, sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe and toured widely. He’s performed at top NYC clubs and brings a nerdy, warm style to his show.
