January 1, 2026 marks Sweta Agrawal’s first day as an Assistant Professor in Comparative Physiology in the Department of Zoology at UBC. Sweta's research focuses on "the neural computations underlying proprioceptive control of movement and how those computations are shaped by motor context or limb shape, particularly on the proprioceptive system of the fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster".
