Welcome to the Spring '08 Joint Worm Meeting website!

On the afternoon of Friday, March 28th, 2008, the floor will be open to C. elegans researchers at the Point Grey campus of the University of British Columbia. This free event is organized by the same people who brought you the Spring 2007 Seattle-Vancouver Worm Meeting at FHCRC in Seattle on April 20th, 2007. The meeting format and principal organizers remain similar, even though the venue has shifted from the USA to Canada.

The 2nd Seattle-Vancouver Worm Meeting will be held at the Michael Smith Laboratories at UBC. Nearby accomodations, also on the Point Grey campus, are available for a special conference rate of $129.00 per night (discounted from $169). This meeting is jointly produced by volunteers from worm labs in both Seattle and Vancouver. And we are very appreciative of our sponsors, the Fermentas, Fisher Scientific and Macrogen corporations, for their support of these cutting-edge research seminars on topics in molecular biology, neuroscience, biotechnology, and bioinformatics.
